John Adair is a highly accomplished Cybersecurity Engineer with a wealth of experience in both military and private sector environments. Currently working as a Cybersecurity Engineer (Expert) at Compatible Technology Solutions, he is contracted with NGA as the Lead Engineer building a zero-trust model. Compatible Technology Solutions provides innovative technology solutions and services that help organizations achieve their mission. John brings his expertise to the table, having retired from a 30-year military career that spanned across the Marine Corps, Air Force, and Army. With 21 years as a Senior Engineer at Ericsson Services and a Senior Cybersecurity Architect Solutions Advisor at GDIT, John holds a BS in Business Information Systems, an MA in Management and Leadership, an MBA, an MS in Cybersecurity, a Doctor of Science (DSc) candidate in Cybersecurity, and multiple certifications. His dissertation focuses on investigating the impact of user behavior and decision-making on the success of social engineering attacks and password security practices, highlighting his commitment to advancing the field of cybersecurity through research and education.
