Managed the full project life-cycle, based on PMBOK framework, for several large-scale Cyber Security projects, and managed up to 35 team members per project. The scope of projects ranged from new product sourcing and implementation to improving data security via smaller projects.
Project management work included :
- Concurrently managing the initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closing phases of multiple Cyber Security projects within the following domains : governance, risk, compliance, policy, data security, and email security. Five projects were successfully completed and received positive recognition from the client (VP of Security).
- Managing teams of various disciplines (e.g., Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Solution and Enterprise Architecture, Sys DBA, Networking, Vendor Management, Procurement) and ensuring team cohesion in order to deliver in a quality-focused manner against project requirements.
- Working with executive sponsors and project owners to define project scope, develop charters, schedules, plans, and formulate a budget based on overall program road-map.
- Coordinating with senior leadership on resource planning.
- Managing all activities with vendors, including coordinating evaluations, demos, proof of concepts, implementation planning, cost estimates, negotiations, and procurements based on established organizational processes.

Provided the following IT Governance support services to DIGITALiBiz in support of the U.S. Department of Treasury's Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) bureau :
- Responsible for 57% (roughly 300) of all the deliverables on DIGITALiBiz’s entire OCC contract. Of these, 100% were accepted by the OCC. Deliverables included : project management plans, project schedules, risk management plans, training plans, communication plans, monthly process metrics and progress reports, program plan updates, test plans, UAT analysis reports, and several program-level statistical analysis reports.
- Managed several application releases (initial go-live, system modernization, and subsequent O&M) for the Enterprise Change Control System (ECCS). Work spanned all SDLC phases including substantial work with Agile planning, team management, requirements, and testing.
- Led the ITSM enterprise metrics program for the Policy & Governance Program Office. Work included developing program-level metrics for the following functional areas : Change & Release Mgmt., Problem Mgmt., Configuration Mgmt., and SDLC. In addition, authored several sections for each areas corresponding program plan.
- Led and supported business process improvement initiatives for enterprise change and release management and for operational metrics based on ITIL and Agile (Scrum) best practices.
- Led enterprise-wide training sessions for key stakeholders on change and release management policies and procedures and on ECCS. In addition, held several sessions and briefings for senior executives.
- Worked closely with IT teams to ensure that application and infrastructure changes – to OCC’s million dollar IT portfolio – were implemented in a controlled manner that minimized risk.
- Led initiatives focused on improving the quality and standardization of several deliverables for the prime contractor, DIGITALiBiz.
