About
I am a legislative/regulatory attorney and executive leader with extensive experience in energy, environment, sustainability, resiliency, climate change, and national security. I have worked for the federal government, and in various capacities for medium-sized to large businesses delivering exceptional service by providing subject matter expertise, and developing structure, a strategy and a process that helps them achieve their goals. I have established strong, lasting client relationships by committing myself to understand each client’s business concerns. I want to make a difference and have repeatedly proven that by championing high impact missions for federal agencies, including the Department of Defense and the Environmental Protection Agency. I know I am only as good as the teams I lead, so I take time to train, coach, and mentor team members for career growth and optimal performance.
I have a reputation as a thought leader who can deliver solutions. I am effective because I can work at all levels of an organization, building solid relationships and trust to effect transformational change. I provide guidance and support to clients as their organizations undergo restructuring, workforce rightsizing, and technology migrations and upgrades. I also provide advice on government contracting opportunities and responses, organizational restructuring, business development, and relationship management.
In addition, I am sought after by non-profit boards to drive the strategic planning process and execute initiatives to fulfill their mission and deliver progress on action items. My key areas of board expertise include, but are not limited to, providing legal advice and risk management assessments, governance, compliance, strategic planning & execution, fundraising, and environmental and social governance.
I am also an adjunct professor in cybersecurity management and policy. My focus is on cybersecurity technical and foundational competencies, including designing management and governance structures, organizational implementation, and an in-depth understanding of policy, legal and regulatory requirements.
