About
I am someone who was always tinkering with technology, who grew up to be an IT professional & is now making a pivot into the Cybersecurity industry. I love technology as it’s been a huge part of my life
I Went to UC Berkeley to study Cybersecurity but opted to pursue the route that would propel toward an industry career as soon as possible, while planning to pursue a BS in Cybersecurity in the near future. Soaked in an incredible wealth of Information & Cybersecurity Engineering knowledge, built out a network of technology professionals & a nascent but growing reputation for reliability, grit, & work ethic.
Started off a technology career how many IT folks do, fixing phones & computers for the general consumer population before upgrading to business-level technical support. While at UC Berkeley, scored an internship with Opstical, a fast but lean company of engineering professionals across a diverse range of industry verticals, beginning to add value from Day 1 as a respectable, trustworthy Cybersecurity Engineering Partner for Software Engineers.
Post-graduation, was extended an offer to continue on with Opstical, eventually taking on a Senior Offensive Security Engineer role within the startup. With the kind of youthful abundant energy that's helped propel this career so far, also began working with a former professor in her elite Professional Services & Technical Consulting firm as a Systems Engineer (highly-interdisciplinary engineer / jack of all trades, slowly becoming also a master of some).
