In this role, I am responsible for supervising the company's Global Security Operations, Engineering, Governance, and Security Platform Delivery Teams in ensuring the protection of business information systems, cloud services, and other physical and information assets. Significant accomplishments include :
• Established and maintained the enterprise security vision, strategy, and programs in accordance with the organizational priorities of a cyber security startup, which grew from $200M to $800M in annual revenue.
• Improved level of compliance to over 90% within six months upon implementation of a new monthly security awareness program.
• Reduced critical vulnerabilities by providing engineers with access to modern security and vulnerability scanning solutions and tools.
Ensured full functionality and optimum security of information systems, while upholding compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Led the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and controls for maintaining ongoing certification process with ISO, NIST, GDPR, CMMC, FedRAMP, SOC, CSA-STAR, and SOX.
• Designated as Chair of the Enterprise Preparedness Committee, which is responsible for ensuring Enterprise preparedness, and crafting BC/DR plans, BIAs, and Emergency Action Plans for 24 locations across the globe.
