About
I attended the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center (GACTC) for Computer Technology/Cisco Academy. At the GACTC, I learned basic computer/networking concepts and earned college credits from Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. I attended Pennsylvania State University and graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Security and Risk Analysis.
Over the course of my career, I have worked as an Information Security Analyst, a Linux Security Analyst, and currently as a Cybersecurity Risk Management Analyst. At these positions, I have performed a variety of functions including: Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, SIEM management, tailored STIGS/CIS baselines, audited NIST based controls, functioned as the Internal Security Assessor for PCI DSS compliance, conducted risk assessments, and other Cybersecurity tasks.
Professionally, I'm always willing to learn and I view Cybersecurity as a constantly evolving challenge. I completed my Master's Degree in Cybersecurity in 2016. Within the last two years I have obtained my CISSP and the GEVA.
