About
After working as a Sonographer for 19 years, I decided I needed a change. Don’t get me wrong, I loved helping people and spending my days in deep conversations with my patients. I just needed something different. I had previously obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics several years ago. I chose to enter the world of Cybersecurity. After completing my Bachelor of Science degree at Lindenwood University, I found it difficult to find a company that wanted to hire someone with no experience. I refused to give up. I learned about CyberUp from a friend and immediately applied for the military cohort. Only two weeks after completing my CyberUp training, I was offered an apprenticeship at First Bank. I have since completed the apprenticeship, become Security + certified, and have accepted a position as an Information Security Analyst with First Bank. Thank you, First Bank, for believing in me!
