Provided integrated cyber security guidance and analysis to further the development, refinement, and validation of joint capabilities for the Combatant Commands, Services, and Agencies. Brokered $3.9B of DoD-level cyber requirements and resourced operational cyber-power for commands and services. Analyzed new IT security developments and used risk management principals to evaluate security technologies and minimize vulnerabilities; championed those technologies thru the Joint Capabilities Integration & Development System (JCIDS) process. Identified duplicative, contradictory, or no longer relevant Joint Staff cyber and cyber security issuances; analyzed National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) based DoD 8500 series documents to comply; devised a phased strategy to reduce the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff cyber security directives by over 50%.
