Created and maintained deliverable and internal technical documentation supporting the BSM-E production and CoOP computer systems. Team of nine system admins and eight database admins.
• Kept technical/tracking documentation for network configurations, technical administration procedures, issue identification and resolution, and working lists of required system updates driven by tickets, vendors, and the U.S. CERT. Calculate monthly team metrics on CERT completion.
• Part of the team assigned to plan (one year+) and conduct major cutover to new production and CoOP locations (50 + 35 systems, two sites) in May and October, 2006, respectively.
• Composed the step-action plans for the monthly maintenance window, and additional items such as Continuity of Operations (CoOP), Communication, and Disaster plans.
• Assisted team members with documenting technical discussions, outcomes, and recommendations/ responses to our technical Government customers. Supported team in planning, stand-up, and operation of two storage area networks (SANs) for system.
• June 2002 to May 2006, performed weekly and emergency floor support for the production data center, and supported system administration of 50+ production machines. Maintained all data for site, including network, firewall, and SAN connections as well as hardware inventory. Physical weekly support of off-site backups (accounting system with seven-year auditing requirements). Performed this duty and all of the above remotely for 4.5 of the total years.
