Mr. Hooper looked at the crowd gathered around the typewriter, he looked at me, he shook his head, smiled, and walked back to his office. That crazy document was a source of entertainment in the law office for years after I left. Nowadays, those primitive, screenless word processors have all been replaced by computers, but in their day they were quite the novelty.
