About
Twenty-one years as a professional librarian have prepared me for a wide variety of careers! I am currently finishing a sabbatical where I was training for jobs in cybersecurity and loving it. I am now ready to begin this new adventure.
A good example of past professional performance was earning a highly competitive and prestigious National Library of Medicine Fellowship from 1998-2000.
I was professionally active and belonged to the Medical Library Association, the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library, and the NC Association of Health and Sciences Librarians. During my tenure at ANCHASL I served as the Communications Director, Vice-President, and President. In 2018 I chaired the local planning committee for the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the Medical Library Association.
