KBR, Inc.
Cybersecurity Assessor
I managed day-to-day operations of a 150+ member team on a $900M+ contract supporting the life cycle of mission systems heading into the largest and most successful Air Force Cloud program, Cloud One. We assist mission systems starting with onboarding, application analysis, cloud migration, and a warm handoff to operations & sustainment. We also continuously develop improvements in cloud engineering, data transport, and digital engineering.
During my time, I also reviewed and submitted proposals for improvements and new projects totaling $13.5M in on-contract growth, of which $3M I directly researched and submitted. I also coordinated the addition of 35 new mission systems under the A1 Enclave.
2022 : 2022
SAIC
Deputy Program Manager, Cloud One
I manage a small team of highly competent engineers in order to solve complex data sharing problems and develop an enterprise IT as a service solution. I manage multiple lines of effort including third-party software evaluation, transport solution development and accreditation, research and experimentation of zero trust products, and endpoint installation and configuration for multiple US Air Force customers. I also collaborate with other SAIC programs in order to deliver maximum value and innovation to my US Air Force customers. Every day, I'm developing my team professionally in order to make them better assets for themselves, SAIC, and the US Air Force.
2021 : 2022
SAIC
Program Manager, SAP EITaaS
I drive the schedule and performance for several different efforts including a research and independent evaluation of multilevel security and zero trust tools, technologies, and architectures; build, test, and gain an authorization for a Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) system; and design, develop, install, and operate a backup and development site for a multilevel security system.
2020 : 2021
SAIC
Site Lead
I dig deep into my client's cybersecurity programs to find proof of adherence to good cybersecurity policies, procedures, and design to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in accordance with the NIST RMF. If there are any deviations to these good security practices, I assess the risk of those deviations within the context of the program. I then present my recommendations to help improve the cybersecurity posture, and I continuously re-engage to ensure that the program is consistently updating and improving.
I also track my team's performance to ensure we're all following the same references and procedures to deliver outstanding and meaningful products to our clients. I place a large emphasis on training and developing our talent from within, and I enjoy fielding questions and new circumstances to stay current with the ever-evolving technological world.
Worked for Engility Corporation until acquisition by SAIC in January 2019.
2018 : 2020
