Information Security Manager
Plans, forecasts and identifies resource requirements for the proper operation of the fiber optic and twisted pair, data and cable TV network. Provides in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage and implement network activities and analyze system problems; confers with the Director concerning objectives, new or revised policies, operating problems, and plans and implements new programs and procedures in accordance with established objectives.
Develops annual operating budgets and capital expenditure plans and operates within the budget/plans; recommends changes in the overall organizational structure to the Director. Develops work programs and schedules; supervises and directs the work of subordinates within the Department.
Plans and manages major projects and ongoing maintenance involving, local and wide area fiber optic networks, cable TV head end, and network servers. Upgrades and deploys switches, routers, firewalls, security systems, backup and disaster recovery systems, access control systems, surveillance systems, telephones, telephone switching equipment, and voicemail, that communicate over the network.
