At iNet Solutions, I facilitated network infrastructure, network security and cybersecurity initiatives. This allowed me to transition from an IT system builder to designing architecture and security systems for our small and medium-sized corporate clients.
I managed five accounts with 50-75 users each, and I served as their systems consultant and network engineer. I managed their programming and networking issues, switches, routers, firewalls and Active Directories.
I also developed RFPs for new clients and managed the scope and infrastructure of these new projects.
Key Accomplishments :
• Managed a project to upgrade a single station POS application to a network-based solution, convert a Windows 2000 Pro File server to a Windows 2008R2 server environment and used Active Directory to create user accounts and policies.
• Migrated and linked a second satellite location to a domain controlled by a Windows 2003 server backup domain controller. Installed Cisco 1600's as the VPN Gateway for site-to-site authentication.
• Led a Terminal Server roll over with integrated backup solutions and remote features, and licensed contractors for remote access.

I managed projects that provided our corporate clients with integrated network solutions. From a technical standpoint, I was responsible for leading integration, database administration, remote administration and network support.
As a manager, I coordinated and developed plans for our clients' technology needs, including expansions, migrations and upgrades. I managed their annual budgets against plan in order to execute our projects. I also created plan designs and network backbones for our prospective clients.
Key Accomplishments :
• Served as Project Lead on a network migration from an existing network to a multi-authentication server environment consisting of four servers with separate authentication access, which we then linked to network applications and implemented bi-level security access.
• Integrated systems for two companies with PDC network schemes that each supported 500+ clients. I developed and managed a cost-effective solution that maintained the integrity of each independent PDC's running different log-on scripts for specific users and reduced downtime.

Serving as a Marine was the foundation of my career. As a ballistics operator with DoD Security Clearance, I chose computers as my occupational specialty and was trained to be a computer operator for ballistic fire work with Linux and UNIX systems. I also performed ballistics coordination.
This was my first exposure to the world of computing. I was instantly bit by the computer bug, and my military experience gave me the passion necessary to make technology the basis of my career.
