Converted from contractor status to full time employee, continuing work on the Not Permitted Technologies team. Responsibilities and work include :
• Researching each technology in the bank's enterprise through the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) to identify the CVSS Base Scores of vulnerabilities as well as the possible exploit methods
• Research through vendor documentation on known vulnerabilities to see what steps they've taken to remediate those vulnerabilities. Sometimes this includes identifying the end of life policy and/or date for these technologies.
• Scoring each technology through a patent-pending algorithm that determines an overall risk score, then stack rank these technologies. This allows us to identify which technologies need to be remediated first versus being placed on a list with a longer timeframe
• Perform forecasting to predict when other technologies, not yet classified as a high enough risk, to determine what technologies may become Not Permitted within the next 1-3 years.
• Make recommendations to the bank that these technologies are remediated to newer versions or removed from the enterprise altogether
• Involved in the creation of a SQL database to track all technologies and their vulnerabilities. Data is pulled directly from the National Vulnerability Database (NVD). Written multiple queries to score technologies and determine level of risk to the bank. Also involved in acquiring a new server for our database. My knowledge of SQL is all self-taught through books and online research I have done on my own. All work is done through MS SQL Server 2012.
• Assisting in remediation of 20+ technologies deemed as Not Permitted based on scoring noted above.
• Additionally, while working on this project, I have put myself through classroom and hands-on training to attain the CompTIA Security+ certification. I have also identified a certification path that I will continue to pursue which aligns with my interests and career goals.

Bank of America
VP, Specialist - Information Security Engineer
I am on the Not Permitted Technologies analysis team at Bank of America. My tasks include :
• Researching each technology in the bank's enterprise through the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) to identify the CVSS Base Scores of vulnerabilities as well as the possible exploit methods
• Research through any vendor documentation on known vulnerabilities within their technology, and what steps they've taken to remediate those vulnerabilities. Sometimes this includes identifying the end of life policy and/or date for these technologies.
• Scoring each technology through a patent-pending algorithm created by the Bank that determines an overall risk score and allows us to stack rank these technologies. Categories are assigned to each technology based on these scores and ranks, to identify which technologies need to be remediated first versus being placed on a longer timeframe
• Make recommendations to the bank that these technologies are remediated to newer versions or removed from the enterprise altogether
I have taken a basic introductory class hosted by Qualys on their product, QualysGuard, to aid in my Vulnerability Management skills.
Additionally, while working on this project, I have put myself through classroom and hands-on training to attain the CompTIA Security+ certification. I have also identified a certification path that I will continue to pursue which aligns with my interests and career goals.
My contract with Bank of America on 2/22/13. As a result, the bank converted me to a full-time employee of the bank and I remain on the same project with the same team.

About
Prior to being a Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams, I have spent many years in customer service roles and know first-hand what it takes to ensure that my clients receive top-notch service. Having worked in various fields and always ensuring that my clients are happy is a rewarding experience for me. After my kids graduated and left home, I decided to combine what I does well with my passion. My goal now is to assist buyers in finding their dream property and sellers to effectively market theirs.
My specialty is in New Home Construction. I've been through the new construction process three times and have assisted clients with theirs as well. I can make recommendations for changes as needed to ensure that you have the home of your dreams, as well as help you avoid some common pitfalls.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, especially if I can go fishing. It’s always more enjoyable if I can take any of my family with me. I loves to talk about Real Estate so if you have something to sell or are looking for that dream property, give me a call, send me an email, or a direct message.
