Operations Manager
The Senior Manager, Cybersecurity and Architecture is responsible to building and leading cybersecurity strategy and operations as well as oversee the implementation cybersecurity architecture. Plays an integral role in building capability and a roadmap of the company’s cybersecurity strategy and processes.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions
Foster collaboration and provide guidance, partnering with business and technology subject-matter experts to drive requirements that enable teams to build and maintain innovative solutions while aligning to strategic vision.
Track and report functional key performance indicator (KPI) metrics.
Partner with multiple departments such as Internal Audit, Legal, Compliance and HR to ensure risks or issues are identified and addressed appropriately.
Responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the department staff, including, but not limited to :
Align staff to achieve departmental and company goals and objectives.
Assist with the implementation of goals and objectives for the department that are aligned to corporate objectives and mission.
Balancing of department work; work planning, prioritization and assignment; establish and monitor accountability for direct reports’ job responsibilities.
Work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate security and privacy risks, fully understand business priorities and strategy.
Work with Security, Information Technology, business units, key stakeholders and leadership to build a cybersecurity plan to meet or exceed corporate initiatives.
Ensure commitments are met the program budget is in alignment with core business objectives and key initiatives.
Work with internal security awareness staff and Corporate Communications to identify security new and continued training and awareness needs.
Training, coaching and mentoring staff to perform their best with assigned work. Creates a positive work environment; sets clear objectives and monitors performance.
