Part of the NIST Security Controls remediation project for the client’s information security system with a focus on network architecture, telecommunications, data centers and email domains.
•Gather information on NIST Controls, STIGS requirements and client’s associated policies and procedures for alignment to the requirements
•Define functional network specifications and future state by means of performing gap analysis for each NIST control, provide a summary of architecture “as-is state” that include findings and proposed remediation strategy deliverable.
•Design or re-design client policies and procedures by engaging subject matter experts. Interviews and follow-up sessions with client SMEs periodically as issues arise during pilot implementation processes
•Develop network security maintenance plan, email domain security plans; business and software design templates.
•Support documentation deliverable deployment and transfer of knowledge principles by monitoring the needs the client may have within the Leaning Management System
•SharePoint administration; including user group site development and permissions hierarchy. Mentor end users on workflows and basic SharePoint navigation
