Actively seeking entry level positions in the IT Industry
Entry Level Cybersecurity Specialist or Network Administrator
I presently run a very small business, with my daughter, called Artists Creators at www.artistscreators.com. Having artist skills I teamed up with my daughter to start a custom crafting business. We design our own brand of double walled stainless steel tumblers, custom make tumblers for client's orders, offer hand made epoxy cup turners, custom T-shirts, and getting geared up to start making special designed patio bars for those that entertain a lot. This is not my cup of tea but hers. I am here to help her while I attend college to learn Cybersecurity and update my IT skills.

My title was Marketing Director, but I ran the entire online business for someone while I attended college.
It became time to venture out on my own at many online retailers with Allstar Variety Store, A Shop 2 Shop, and Ricky John.
Each had their own style. Allstar Variety sold sports memorabilia, Ricky John was a women's fashion store, and A Shop 2 Shop was for what ever did not fit into the other two.
I understood these stores would not make me rich, but their intent was to provide an income while, as a single parent, I raised my daughter, and later to help her raise her children. As of 2017 it is now my time as I wish to return to my love of life and go back to working with computers and Internet networks.

About
I started building computers because the computers at my college were too slow. Word got out at the college and orders came pouring in. At college I was learning 3D computer animation which required multiple computers to generate animation type films. Reserving computer time at college proved to be a problem so I built 4 computers from the MOBO up and self taught myself on how to network them and did my college work from home. This working with computer building and networking became a passion of mine taking over my want to be a 3D animator. From college I was hired by the upstarting Lanop Corporation which was an IT certification boot camp type school. I was requested to build from a stack of computers and build a boot camp school for them. This required taking parts from computers and building a useful ones and networking them for their classrooms and test center room. I was offered a nice salary and the right to take classes after one year of work. After one year I started my first class and received my Microsoft MCP in Windows 2000, which recently had come out. before further classes the Great Recession happened, jobs in the IT industry dried up majorly, and the the company went out of business.
I then started a group of small online businesses to supplement my income but kept working around computers. Now with over 20 years around building, repairing, and networking computers (home based business) I decided I needed some serious updating in my knowledge of the current IT industry. The best way was to head back to college. Now, as of 12/2020 I have completed their A. S. degree in Cybersecurity at St. Petersburg College and was accepted into their Bachelors program in Cybersecurity Management. I am in no hurry to complete this degree compared to my wanted to get back to work! I love working on computer, routers, switches, and any networking environment. I am preferring a work at home position, but open to serious offers. You will find I train very easily and have old school work ethics and morals. I do not smoke or drink alcohol so I do not need smoke breaks or work with hang-overs.
