As Membership Chair, it is my mission to grow my chapter through the recruitment of quality new members. My primary responsibilities include :
- promoting healthy growth through the addition of quality new members who add value to the chapter.
- actively seeking out referrals from current members, my network and community.
- being the “face” of the EO Accelerator in my local area for prospective members.
- having a specific qualifying plan to ensure prospects meet EO Accelerator Global and local chapter requirements.
- being the gatekeeper to ensure the prospect is a good fit.
- joining the monthly Membership Chair calls and sharing my experiences so that others may benefit from my successes.

CareSight is an analytics and advanced reporting service placing easy-to-use and actionable analytics in the hands of care managers, patient experience executives, quality and risk professionals, and hospital leadership. Developed by Connecticut-based T2 Technical services, led by healthcare industry veteran Kenny Schiff, CareSight is the culmination of 14-years of ongoing work with customers on clinical alarm integration, mobile communications, and nursing analytics. CareSight’s clinical team and robust reporting tools bring vital information to hospital customers who rely on accurate and reliable information from key hospital system manufacturers such as Rauland-Borg, Vocera Communications, Ascom, and Connexall.

About
Richard Shinnick, former NSA advisor and Air Force veteran, is the Founder of Touchstone Security. Mr. Shinnick has 35+ years of experience in the computer security industry providing advice on the risks associated with information technology with a specialty focus on cloud technology.
In 1998, Mr. Shinnick founded his first company, Shinnick Consulting. In 2000 he co-founded a second company, STIGroup, Ltd., and grew the company to 45+ employees. He worked in the Information Security group at Goldman Sachs, where he played a key role in the development of corporate standards for the design and implementation of cybersecurity technologies. Prior to Goldman, he developed and headed the Information Security Consulting Division at Digital Network Associates, a premier Wall Street systems integration company.
For a decade Mr. Shinnick developed and taught Cyber Security courses at Columbia University, New York University, the University of Barcelona, and Borough of Manhattan Community College. He is a proud volunteer at American Corporate Partners, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting veterans in their transition from the armed services to the civilian workforce. He became a first responder as a volunteer firefighter in his hometown after 9/11. Mr. Shinnick served in the United States Air Force Electronic Security Command as an Airborne Cryptologic Linguist in the Rivet Joint Program during the Cold War. He holds a B.S. degree in Professional Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and is a 15+ year member of Entrepreneurs Organization.
