• Oversee the Desktop support group and ensure the accessibility, functionality and connectivity of the over 1200 systems across 3 campuses. Imaging, and software delivery was done with Microsoft System Center, Deep Freeze to maintain the integrity of lab systems and inventory from order to decommission was done through Provance.
• Maintain the two email systems (branded gmail and Exchange 2012) for the entire staff, faculty, student and alumni constituencies. Using AD, open LDAP and a variety of connectors and scripts to pull and digest information from the ERP system (Ellucian Colleague) AD/Exchange scripting
• Virtualized aged hardware into a VMWare ESX 5.5 environment and decreased the datacenter footprint by over 50%. Also decreasing risk of service outage through clustering and failover techniques by over 80%
• Revamped and redesigned the existing storage solution and consolidated all storage into an EMC VNX solution as well as the backup and DR solution.
