Rodolphe Simonetti is an international IT & Cyber Security business leader with over 20 years of experience with large enterprises. He also has management and Board of Advisor experience for start-ups and VC. A frequent public speaker, Rodolphe has a wealth of experience interacting with Analysts, and Media.
As Vice President Information Security at Kyndryl (IBM spin-off), Rodolphe oversees Security, Risk, Compliance and Privacy, protecting systems, data, and reputation for Kyndryl customers globally. This is a team of 1400 professionals delivering testing, assessments, monitoring, and advisory in order to identify, mitigate, and monitor risks. Responsibility includes achievement and maintenance of external certifications (including SOC1, SOC2, ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, ISO 27701, PCI-DSS, HITRUST).
As leader for Amazon Customer Services Risk and Assurance organization, Rodolphe oversaw teams of risk managers, industry specialists, technical program managers, security engineers, and software development engineers, responsible for risk assessment, risk management, audits, control management, penetration testing, red-teaming, automation, and advisory to top management. During his Amazon tenure, Rodolphe was promoted and graduated from the Amazon Bar Raiser Program.
As Managing Director of Verizon’s Global Security Solutions Consulting organization, Rodolphe had full P&L responsibility and oversaw delivery operations spanning 250 employees in 33 countries. He was also editor to the Verizon Payment Security Report and contributed to the Verizon Data Breach Investigation Reports, both leading information security research publications. Rodolphe also interacted with analyst firms achieving and maintaining market leadership position for Verizon.
As CISO & CIO for VeriSign European start-up JV Certplus (now IDnomic acquired by ATOS), Rodolphe reported directly to the CEO. He was in charge of designing, building, scaling and operating the digital signature platform supporting large European Governments and Enterprises.
Rodolphe holds multiple certifications including CISSP, CISM, CDPSE, PCI-QSA, HITRUST CSF Practitioner, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor & ISO 27005 Risk Manager, as well as AWS Practitioner, AWS Cloud Architect Associate and AWS Security Specialty. He graduated with major in Computer Science from Universite Paris 5 and Universite de Bordeaux. He also attended the Innovation & Strategic Agility Direct Program from Harvard Business School. Rodolphe is a dual citizen, USA and France.
