Supervised some of Dell’s key business intelligence programs and projects, including mergers & acquisitions with other companies as well as its own leveraged buyout program (privatization). Efforts consisted of global software development for the finance segment, each program employing up to eight project managers and budgets of up to $10M. Liaised closely with end users and customers, providing successful negotiation, prioritization, and project delivery.
• Dell : Served as strong company support when delivering key transformational programs and projects by providing key capabilities in support of Dell’s strategy during mergers and its decision to become a private organization.
• Responsibilities : included managing very large, globally distributed strategic transformational programs and projects, day to day management of dependencies, vendors, budgets, PMO and executive-level reporting, facilitation of individual project-level activities, negotiation with third-party teams, such as test and quality assurance, partnering with business teams etc. Programs and projects were executed in traditional SDLC fashion, as well as agile and hybrid fashions, each one with its particularities in terms of documentation (for instance, large Business Requirements Documents versus streamlined product backlogs with epics and user stories), reporting style etc. All programs and projects were internal corporate.

I also hold distinctions in the academic sphere, having been appointed as adjunct professor of computer science while taking my early Ph.D. studies, as well as having been awarded with a Google fellowship in support and recognition of my Ph.D. research, one out of only 6 such grants in the entire United States during the year of 2021.
