DIGITAL FORENSICS SERVICES
I collect, examine, and help others understand the significance of digital evidence. Some typical services:
► Recovery of deleted documents, emails, text messages, and more
► Establish a timeline of events
► Corroborate evidence gathered from different sources
► Gather evidence of child abuse
► Gather proof of trade secret and intellectual property theft
CRIMINAL DEFENSE CASES
► I review and interpret reports, exhibits, etc., created by other digital forensics experts to verify the accuracy and completeness of their results.
► I determine if the Government followed policy, procedures, and best practices when acquiring, handling, and examining digital evidence.
EXPERT WITNESS
With experience testifying as an Expert Witness, I am well-equipped to provide my expert opinion on the witness stand in your case. My extensive background in digital forensics and cybersecurity makes me a reliable and credible source of information in the courtroom.
SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS & PODCAST GUEST
I enjoy sharing humorous stories and lessons learned from my career in the FBI, digital forensics, and cybersecurity.
THE FBI AND BEYOND
I joined the FBI on a whim over 20 years ago, and that whim paved the way for a fantastic journey in digital forensics and cybersecurity. While in the FBI, I worked on over 400 cases ranging from crimes against children to financial crimes to terrorism. I worked with great people, made a difference in society, and had some fun along the way (ask me about the time the FBI laundered money or I got trapped on a fence at the LAX airport). Before striking out on my own, I lead cybersecurity programs for Fortune 10 and critical infrastructure companies in the private sector.
I'M NOT JUST ANOTHER GEEK
In a room full of geeks, I am the party! While I may love wearing a hoodie and working late nights in front of computers, I also thrive in social settings and love having adventures. I'm always fully committed and give my all, bringing my passion for our justice system to every case by helping others understand the importance of digital evidence through engaging storytelling and relatable analogies. It's not just about zeros and ones; it's about making a real impact in the pursuit of justice.
