Stephen Ford is a global technology executive with more than two decades of strategic leadership within the technology and healthcare industries. As the Vice President, Global Cybersecurity Operations for McKesson Corporation, Stephen is responsible for protecting critical systems, delivering data security and privacy, and ensuring an effective response to cyber threats and events. During his tenure, he has successfully integrated modern security solutions across the enterprise, mitigating operational risk while enabling the business to meet its objectives.
Passionate about problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, working with people, and building relationships, Stephen is driven to help organizations meet their goals. As a natural connecter, he has a knack for putting people together with resources to solve problems.

Stephen serves as an experienced technology executive at McKesson Corporation (Fortune 9), a global leader in pharmaceutical distribution. He has led teams responsible for security operations, offensive engineering, incident response, security engineering, architecture, access management, and differentiated infrastructure. Additionally, Stephen has standardized security and technology services, reduced silos, aligned best practices, delivered efficiencies, and reduced costs.
Outside of work, Stephen has volunteered and served on a number of technology advisory and diversity and inclusion boards and committees. Most notably, Stephen served as the chairman for the national board of Black Excellence (BE), McKesson’s African American and Black Employee Resource Group, providing professional development and growth opportunities for black professionals. He serves on a number of committees and working groups within the Health ISAC and is an executive member of the Information Technology Senior Management Forum (ITSMF).
