Implemented the complete upgrade and re-appointment of 60+ computer workstations.
• Deployment of 30 new Macintosh computers across 4 different Newspaper offices within Ogden Publications, which included; The Jamestown Post Journal in NY, The Dunkirk Observer in NY, The Daily Observer in Warren PA and the Times Observer in West Field NY.
• Upgraded and converted all computer applications and documents to the new system.
• Connected the new Macintosh computers to the Network and redeployed older Macintosh computers to other areas of the organization.
• Project Lead for PC maintenance and support across the Organization. This included approximately 100 devices. Task included hardware upgrades, virus removal, registry editing and internet set up.
• Developed policies and procedures to continue PC maintenance after my departure.
• Currently maintain a contractor relationship with Ogden Publications to build and deliver new PC’s to their specifications. To date I have built and delivered 4.
• Researched and negotiated better pricing terms for the purchase of toner cartridges for the printers, which currently saves the company over $1000 per week.
• Identified new vendors for the purchase of New Computer equipment.
