Lead Cybersecurity Analyst
The Research and Education Networks Information Sharing and Analysis Center (REN-ISAC) serves over 700 member institutions within the higher education and research community by promoting cybersecurity operational protections and response.
Responsible for the creation, execution, and management of cross-disciplinary cybersecurity assessment service aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
● Manages all aspects of Cybersecurity Peer Assessment Service, including Statements of Work for institutions and assessors, intelligence discovery, report generation, and fiscal analysis.
● Recruits, trains, and directs decentralized teams of CIOs, CISOs, Security Engineers, and Policy and Compliance experts for in-person and remote engagements.
● Serves as Peer Assessor on select engagements for topics of Governance, Business Environment, Security and Privacy Policy, Compliance, Risk Management, and Awareness and Training.
● Functions as Subject Matter Expert on mapping of NIST CSF to security practices.
● Collaborate with Indiana University legal counsel and procurement to ensure all agreements and invoicing are executed per institutional standards.
● Represent the organization at various industry and sector conferences, events, and meetings.
● Lead and assist in the development and deployment of various forms of communication to members and public regarding both internal news and updates around situations impacting the information security sector.
