• Responsibilities include : Work with Microsoft GFS Datacenters to Host, Configure, and T-shoot servers, network and environments for Microsoft HealthVault application and HBI data. Secure and Manage Domain Controllers, Accounts, Policies, SPN’s, Delegations, Group Policies, Certs, VLANs, Load Balancers, Firewalls, and other network components. End-to-End involvement in build out and deployment. Proficient with PowerShell. Other tasks include : Required Monthly Patching, Managing backups. Perform Quarterly Audits for group membership, expiring certs, current patching levels, configuration changes. Also documenting all of the above and training of others. Take investigation escalations and participate in On-Call rotation.

Some automation using Powershell. Perform custom and standard configuration changes, analysis of impact, document KB’s and training of others. I have 21+ years’ experience in IT and Support Environments. I have 17+ years contracting at Microsoft and a strong background in Application Pre-deployment, Testing, Deployment, Support, Technical Training and Support Documentation. In addition to specializing in Microsoft Operating Systems, Networking and Internet Technologies, I have extensive knowledge and experience within IT Support Environments for Server, Client and Application Support, Data Analysis, Problem Management, Management of Support Teams, and MOF/ITIL process knowledge. Most recently I worked as a Systems Engineer on the Microsoft HealthVault Team where I identified requirements and architecture changes to resolve design, deployment and security issues and document processes. I was responsible for configuring, trouble-shooting and documenting and end-to-end management of HealthVault application environments and HBI data. I also have skills in Powershell 2, 3 and 4.
