Responsible for implementing and maintaining the information assurance (IA) program for component command USF-I (United States Forces – Iraq) in the Northern Region of Iraq to included five major bases. Serve as lead for IA staff within region and subject matter expert to all privileged and non-privileged users regarding CENTCOM and USF-I policy and procedures in my area of responsibility.
• Coordinate incident handling and response activities with South West Asia (SWA) Cyber Center – CERT in response to attempted network intrusions and cyber attacks in continued effort to protect Dept. of Defense (DOD) network.
• Facilitate and manage DIACAP process for each base by tracking compliance with applicable IA Controls that include personnel and facility security, IAVA’s, and configuration management. Document remediation actions for non-compliant controls with POAM (Plan of Action & Milestones).

• Successfully met deadline for DOD Secure Configuration Compliance Validation Initiative (SCCVI) by deploying REM/Retina infrastructure.
