As IT Director of Cybersecurity & IT Infrastructure, I am accountable for leading a team of 10 IT employees to fulfill the organization’s IT needs across 18 NYC offices, shape a robust information security infrastructure, deploy leading-edge technology systems, and develop forward-looking IT policies and programs with an emphasis on cybersecurity, productivity, and efficiency.
I drive continuous improvements to the firm’s security posture by conducting network penetration testing, risk assessments, and security awareness trainings to protect the organization’s IT assets.
To carry out my mandate, I recruit and train team members, design comprehensive backup and disaster recovery plans, manage the help-desk team, and develop lean IT processes and policies that are standardized, scalable, and informed by industry best practices.

As Sr. Systems Engineer, I was tasked by the management team to lead a total redesign of the backup infrastructure with the goal of optimizing Exchange, SQL, Virtual server, and file system backup speed, resiliency, and security for a 5K+ server/laptop environment.
