Cyber Security Engineer (ISSE) for the US Navy, and other DOD projects supporting Katmai's portfolio of contracts :
- Focus on NIST 800-53 (RMF) implementation of Cyber Security for Cloud Systems as well as its use in (AWS FedRAMP) environments
- Work on multiple System Support Contracts in all steps of the RMF process as they are implemented in the DOD/DON (eMASS) accreditation tool
- Review Dev code using the micro focus Fortify code analysis tools suite; before, during, and after each code release to execute the highest level of DISA STIG requirements used in DOD COTS systems, and working with Dev team and Navy SwA to meet all code security requirements while meeting deadlines for releases
- Completing CCI testing and working with various teams to implement RMF security controls
- Analyzing and reviewing vulnerability reports from ACAS/Nessus
- Acting Scrum master for internal security team; creating, tracking, and reporting via JIRA ticketing
- Handling System Design, analysis, and requirements gathering
- Providing support throughout the SDLC from a security perspective for AGILE software development
