I oversee the CIS program to include instruction, curriculum, student success, expenses, enforcement of policies and procedures, scheduling of classes, and accreditation standards in order to maintain quality education which meets state and federal requirements and ECPI University rigorous guidelines. Provide a comprehensive study of the use of information technology as an organizational resource, including the implementation of disciplined processes and management development to effectively exploit the power of modern information technology. Topics covered include information system concepts, hardware and software systems components, basics of systems operation, and the ethical use of information systems.

As Adjunct faculty, I perform instruction-related duties and responsibilities in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies and procedures of the university. The relationship I have with the student is one of teacher and facilitator of learning. My Research areas of interests are : Data mining (DM), Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), and IT Policy & Governance.
I develop and manage syllabus materials. I am responsible for selecting and compiling tests, assignments and/or online discussion exercises that permit measurement of performance relative to standardized learning objectives.
I coordinate courseware and curriculum with academic department chair. As the Adjunct
Professor I am responsible for reviewing any textbook and other courseware changes with the academic department chair and other full-time faculty teaching the course.
Facilitate Class Instruction, is responsible for teaching the assigned class in accordance with learning objectives and session plan outlines
Evaluate Student Performance, is expected to administer evaluations of student performance based on course deliverables and course rubrics. All course grades will be posted on the Blackboard Grade Center.
Adhere to Protocol Guidelines, responsible for participation in any chat sessions as determined by the course.
Respond Promptly to Grade Determination, submit grades for any assignments, discussion board exercises, and exams and course completion.

Some of my additional duties include the following : Teaches within the assigned content area and serves as an instructional model for other faculty members by demonstrating exemplary facilitation techniques, participation in new faculty assessment, conducting faculty certification, training, and development sessions, performing Peer Reviews or Academic Quality Assurance Visits, and consulting activities as requested by University Administration, acts as a formal mentor to new faculty member as well as present faculty, participates in and contributes to New Faculty Certification, serves as a member of the Campus Academic Council and actively participates in meetings and discussions, establishes office hours and maintains a presence at the campus to advise faculty, students, and staff, actively engages in research for the college and/or campus, develops and conducts student labs as requested by the campus.
