Highlights of my accomplishments include :
• Provide insight and guidance to the Board and C-Suite leadership on emerging technologies, trends, and industry cyber risks.
• Uncovered a software and services overpayment issue. Analyzed current systems and eliminated redundancies, investing those cost savings into new technology and new processes to gain a competitive edge in new areas.
• Developed and implemented a Cybersecurity Awareness Training Gamification Program for all employees reducing phishing successes by 80%. Additionally, rolled out a tool for users to report phishing emails.
• Instrumental role in navigating the university’s name change and associated technology and process repercussions.

In this position, I brought order and structure to a disparate IT department. I provided support for all servers and storage. I managed networking equipment, built a backup, and provided escalated help desk support. I played a key role in the design and implementation of a strategic plan to improve performance, scalability, and agility of all systems, networks, security, and data.
Highlights of my accomplishments include :
• Led the installation of new servers and configured hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. (Windows Server 2016/2019).
• Provided Tier 2 support for network switches, routers, firewalls, packet-shaping appliances, and other security-related devices (Cisco 9300, 9400, 9500. DNA).

• Negotiated student laptop and backpack rates, reducing costs from $18k per year to $5500 biennial.
• Led the ERP system migration to a SaaS platform to improve user accessibility.
• Created a tiering promotion and compensation scale for employees.
