Job Details
Responsibilities
- Assist with Managing and maintaining Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, and Windows Server environments in an on-premises server configuration.
- Monitor system performance, backups, patching, and data security.
- Support and troubleshoot networking, firewall, and VPN configurations.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity protocols and disaster recovery plans.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and licensing
- Coordinate with leadership and external vendors to ensure reliable IT operations across all offices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies to enhance system reliability, scalability, and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of IT administration experience, preferably in a professional services or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Exchange, SQL Server, and Windows Server administration.
- Microsoft certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator are strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with engineering and GIS applications (Bentley OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, QGIS,) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Python and R for coding applications is a plus
