Executive Summary: HRUCKUS is looking for an experienced Chief Information Office/Chief Technology Officer (CIO/CTO) to assist the Information Technology Services (ITS) department of the NYC Department of Social Services (DSS) in managing the day-to-day activities of the organization. This role serves as a hybrid leader, overseeing both internal IT operations and external-facing product innovation to ensure critical systems remain operational and aligned with agency goals.
Position Description: The CIO/CTO will report to the First Deputy Commissioner and work in collaboration with the Deputy CIO. This individual will provide technical assistance to ITS staff, oversee engineering teams, troubleshoot critical system issues, and make recommendations for system enhancements to agency leadership.
Position Job Duties:
- Developing and implementing a technology strategy that aligns with DSS’s business goals, objectives, and budget.
- Leading and managing technology teams to ensure projects meet business needs and deadlines within budget.
