The New York Auto Museum Experience Center (NYAM), is planning to launch a 200,000+ square-foot modern facility in Manhattan, we are planning for a state-of-the-art automotive museum experience. Featuring a massive rooftop patio and partially glassed floors, NYAM allows visitors a unique perspective to explore vehicles from every angle. The museum intends to redefine the traditional concept of automotive exhibitions by offering interactive experiences, including the opportunity to sit inside up to 50 historical cars at any given time. At NYAM, innovation meets history, creating an unmatched destination for car enthusiasts and museum visitors alike.
Role Description
This is a volunteer contract, remote role for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) 4-6 hours a month. The CTO will oversee technology strategy and execution to support NYAM's mission and operations. Responsibilities include leading software development initiatives, driving IT strategy, defining and implementing architectural designs, and managing technical projects. The CTO will also collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of digital technologies and oversee the development of innovative products and experiences for museum visitors. We’re looking for assistance in setting up fundraising campaigns, crowdfunding activities, and other fundraising modalities.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Software Development and Product Development to design, create, and enhance digital solutions

- Advanced degree or extensive experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
