We are a growing Managed Service Provider is investing heavily in scaling its service delivery model and hiring in response to growth, not turnover. The team is small, well funded, and focused on building something long term. This role is designed for a senior engineer who wants to grow with the organization, bring leadership potential, and help shape how services and operations mature over time.
This position serves as the senior technical anchor on the client operations side. Day to day work includes complex troubleshooting and stabilization with approximately 25% project and deployment work, increasing as experience and ownership grow. Quality of life is a priority, with flex time, work from home when needed, and hybrid options after onboarding.
What You Will Do
• Act as the senior technical escalation point across client environments
• Stabilize and optimize existing infrastructure while reducing recurring issues
• Design and implement improvements across Windows Server, Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365
• Support and enhance virtualization platforms and network infrastructure
• Lead and participate in project and deployment work with increasing scope over time
• Influence process improvements and help shape how service delivery scales
• Mentor junior engineers and raise technical and documentation standards
• Partner closely with leadership as the organization grows
Experience and Skills Required
• Strong MSP background with senior level troubleshooting experience
• Windows Server administration and Microsoft 365 expertise
• Azure and Entra ID experience
• Virtualization experience and comfort working across varied client environments
• Solid networking fundamentals including routing, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls
• Demonstrated leadership aptitude and interest in long term growth
• Ability to balance hands on technical work with broader operational thinking
