Skills:
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Experience Required:
- 5 years of broad knowledge of networking services and common networking protocols, have computer proficiency and understanding of various types of hardware, and increasingly responsible Information Technology skills to include Cisco competencies.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 4 years in the capacity of a Network Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience within the last 4 years in a security monitoring role.
Additional Experience Required:
- 3 years of experience utilizing complex large-scale network infrastructure devices, including Cisco enterprise or carrier-class routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Palo Alto firewalls, wireless controllers/access points, and Cisco Nexus switches.
- 2 years of experience utilizing enterprise-level monitoring tools such as Open NMS, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, Cisco Prime Collaboration, Net Scout nGenius, Route Explorer, Elastic Search, SCOM, vROPS, Secure Works, Dynatrace, Uptime Robot, IBM Tivoli, Web CTRL, CACTI, StruxureWare, and Cherwell system.
- 2 years of experience using Windows servers, Linux servers, and IBM Mainframe z/OS operating systems.
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Computer Science field. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Required Certification (must hold at least one of the following):
- CompTIA Network+.
- CompTIA Security+.
- Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA).
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP).
Additional Project Information:
- This position is open to California residents only.
- The role will transition to a hybrid schedule after completing 4–8 weeks of onsite training.
- This is a 24/7 IT enterprise environment.
- Candidates must be flexible and willing to work morning, swing, or graveyard shifts.
