Our client—the largest government agency in Alhambra —is seeking a Server Systems Administrator/VMware Engineer with strong VMware and infrastructure experience to support a large, mission‑critical environment.
Location: Alhambra, CA (Hybrid)
Contract: 12–24+ months

Key Skills
- VMware: VxRail, vSphere/vCenter, NSX, Horizon VDI, UAG, Aria/vROps, ControlUp
- VM performance tuning & troubleshooting
- Windows & Linux admin, hardening, patching (RHEL/Rocky/Ubuntu)
- AD / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP
- PowerShell scripting (incl. v7)
- Azure Monitor, SIEM tools
- Veritas NetBackup & Dell EMC Unity storage
- Documentation: SOPs, runbooks
Nice to Have
- OpenText Documentum (xCP, D2, Brava, CTS)
- AWS (EKS, Docker, Helm, RDS, EFS, S3)
Requirements
- 5+ years virtualization/infra experience
- 4+ years VMware (ESXi/vSphere/vCenter, VxRail)
- California residents only (onsite required)
