Job Title: System Administrator
Location: Burbank, CA *Onsite*
Salary Range: $100,000 – $115,000 (DOE)
Overview
We are looking for a hands-on System Administrator to manage and support our client's on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure. This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who thrives in an onsite environment, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and takes ownership of day-to-day IT operations. You will play a key role in maintaining system reliability, supporting end users, and ensuring smooth IT performance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support Windows server environments and cloud services
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policies, and user access
- Manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
- Oversee endpoint management using Intune, SCCM, or similar tools
- Support hybrid on-prem and cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot server, network, endpoint, and user-related issues
- Provide onsite, white-glove IT support to staff
- Monitor system performance, security, and backups
- Assist with network operations including DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation
Must-Have Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator or similar role
- Strong expertise in Windows Server (2016–2022)
- Advanced Active Directory administration (users, groups, GPOs)
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration
- Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
- Endpoint management experience (Intune, SCCM, or similar)
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, switching/routing)
- Experience supporting hybrid on-prem/cloud environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical users
- PowerShell scripting experience
- Comfortable working onsite and delivering high-touch user support
