Role Overview
eNGINE is seeking an Associate System Administrator to support an Application User Administration team focused on secure, compliant access to enterprise systems. This role is ideal for someone early in their systems or infrastructure career who has a solid foundation in Active Directory, user access controls, and security concepts. You will work closely with senior administrators, application owners, and security teams to ensure access is granted accurately, documented properly, and aligned with organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with provisioning, updating, and removing user access across enterprise applications
- Support Active Directory user and group administration activities
- Help maintain role-based access models and standardized access templates
- Participate in access reviews and compliance-related activities
- Document procedures, access changes, and system-related requests with a high level of accuracy
- Respond to user access requests and inquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with technical teams to understand application-level roles, permissions, and authentication methods
- Escalate complex access or system issues to senior team members as appropriate
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory in a support or administrative capacity
- Understanding of basic system security concepts, including roles, permissions, and access controls
- Familiarity with authentication concepts such as SSO and directory-based access
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined processes
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working with technical terminology and IT teams
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to PowerShell for basic administrative or automation tasks
- Understanding of least-privileged access principles
- Experience supporting access governance or compliance-driven environments
- Interest in growing toward a System Administrator or IAM-focused career path
