eNGINE is actively hiring an experienced Enterprise Application Architect to help shape the future of our application ecosystem and technology strategy. This role is focused on future-state architecture, enterprise application modernization, and strategic technology selection within a regulated financial services environment.
You’ll play a hands-on role in evaluating, selecting, and implementing modern platforms—such as enterprise integration tools, API frameworks, and data/ETL solutions—while guiding the organization beyond legacy approaches. You’ll also help define our AI strategy and ensure new technologies align with business goals, scalability, and regulatory requirements.
What You’ll Do
- Define and evolve the future-state enterprise application architecture and roadmaps
- Lead evaluation and implementation of enterprise platforms (e.g., service bus, API management, data/ETL tools)
- Modernize legacy systems and guide migration to cloud and hybrid architectures
- Establish architecture standards, reference architectures, and governance processes
- Partner with business and technology leaders to align architecture with strategy and regulatory needs
- Drive AI and emerging technology strategy, identifying practical, secure use cases
- Ensure compliance with financial services regulations and security standards
- Mentor solution architects and senior engineers across teams
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in application architecture and full-stack development, including enterprise or solution architecture
- Financial services experience (banking, fintech, or regulated environments required)
- Strong expertise in application ecosystems, integrations, APIs, and data platforms
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP) and hybrid deployments
- Ability to evaluate and implement modern enterprise technologies
- Strong stakeholder communication and architectural leadership skills
Nice to Have
- TOGAF, AWS, or Azure architecture certifications
- Experience with application modernization or digital transformation initiatives
- Exposure to AI/ML strategy in regulated environments
- Familiarity with agile and DevSecOps practices
