Instead of licensing out our proprietary technology to other law firms we are competing with them by providing fast, efficient contract negotiation services to some of the world's most innovative, fastest growing companies. Crosby bills by the contract as opposed to the hour, and the entire process is overseen by elite in-house lawyers ensuring quality and efficiency.
We're seeking an early hire for our legal team - a privacy leader with extensive experience reviewing/redlining/negotiating commercial and tech agreements.
You'll help shape our AI tools and provide guidance for some of the most innovative, fastest growing startups in the world (see sample client list at www.crosby.ai).
You'll join a great culture while maintaining quality work, with no billable hours.
Qualifications:
- Substantive knowledge of U.S. and global privacy laws. Extensive experience providing policy guidance to startups and reviewing their agreements.
- J.D. or LLM is ok; must be admitted to the bar in a US jurisdiction. Credentials from T14 law school strongly preferred.
- Ideal candidates can be in-office M-F. Enthusiasm for legaltech (and the ability to shape these tools) required.
Good faith estimate of the comp is $200,000 - $250,000 per year, plus significant equity package. Full health benefits, 401k, new office space with meals provided.
