We are a Houston-based Managed Service Provider is hiring a Senior System Administrator to join our growing technical team. This full-time role blends advanced support responsibilities with hands-on project work across Microsoft 365, server infrastructure, networking, and firewall management. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Tier 2 or Tier 3 role within a Managed Service Provider environment.
This opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule, typically three days onsite and two remote. Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Resolve escalated tickets across a wide range of technologies (Levels 2/3)
- Deliver project-based work involving:
- Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
- SonicWall firewalls and Ubiquiti network gear (switches and WAPs)
- Hyper-V deployments and Intune administration
- Perform network and server deployments for SMB clients
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery
Required Experience:
- 2+ years in an MSP or IT service provider environment
- Strong technical foundation in:
- Microsoft 365, Active Directory
- Windows Server and workstation support
- SonicWall and Ubiquiti configuration
- Networking fundamentals (switches, firewalls, connectivity)
- Excellent communication and client-facing support skills
- Relevant certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, etc.) preferred
