Akkodis is seeking a
System Administrator for a
Contract with a client in
Olathe, KS. Candidate must have strong Wintel and VMware administration expertise to support enterprise‑level operations and critical incident resolution.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
- Manages Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPO environments while ensuring stable Wintel operations.
- Oversees VMware ESXi and vCenter administration, including provisioning, lifecycle management, and performance troubleshooting.
- Performs end‑to‑end incident resolution for P1 issues by collaborating with cross‑functional teams across infrastructure domains.
- Handles storage tasks such as SAN/NAS management, RAID configuration, LUN operations, and performance tuning.
- Utilizes backup platforms like Veeam or Cohesity to maintain reliable recovery and data protection workflows.
- Applies strong networking fundamentals including VLANs, routing, and TCP/IP to support root‑cause analysis and system stability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Strong hands‑on background in Wintel and VMware administration with proven experience supporting enterprise production environments.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot P1 incidents, manage Windows Server and virtualization platforms, and collaborate across infrastructure teams for rapid issue resolution.
- Proven capability in storage administration, backup technologies, and applying networking fundamentals to support deep‑level diagnostics and performance stability.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $45.00 per hour
