Quincy Management, Inc. is seeking a Systems Administrator to support and maintain the organization’s core IT infrastructure. This role works directly with the IT Manager and plays a key part in ensuring the reliability, security, and day-to-day performance of enterprise systems.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and monitor physical and virtual server environments to ensure system stability and availability
- Support network infrastructure and core systems under established standards and procedures
- Administer user access, permissions, and identities within Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Monitor system performance, logs, and alerts; troubleshoot and resolve issues within defined scope
- Perform routine maintenance including backups, patching, and updates in coordination with the IT Manager
- Support enterprise platforms such as phone systems, access control, and security camera systems
- Provide technical support to end users and escalate complex issues as appropriate
- Maintain accurate technical documentation for systems, configurations, and procedures
- Assist with infrastructure upgrades, system implementations, and controlled changes
What We’re Looking For
- Demonstrated experience in systems and network administration
- Hands-on experience supporting physical and virtual server environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft 365
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
- Ability to manage priorities independently while collaborating with IT leadership
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort working in a structured, policy-driven IT environment
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior hands-on experience in systems administration or a closely related IT role required
- Experience supporting enterprise systems, networks, and professional end users required
