Overview
We are seeking a skilled Tanium Administrator/Operator with at least 3 years of hands-on Tanium experience. The ideal candidate will ensure secure, compliant, and efficient IT operations across a dynamic defense agency environment by deploying and managing Tanium for endpoint security, compliance tracking, and IT hygiene—while supporting Agile-driven initiatives and coordinating through Jira.

Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and support Tanium modules for asset discovery, compliance monitoring, vulnerability management, and patching.
- Use Tanium to track and report on system and network compliance aligned with agency or DoD requirements (e.g., STIGs, NIST, RMF).
- Monitor endpoint activity and health; investigate and coordinate remediation of endpoint security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate as part of an Agile team, participate in ceremonies, and track work/tickets using Jira.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, compliance reports, and user guides; escalate issues as needed.
- Share knowledge and contribute to workflow optimization, process improvement, and team documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Tanium platform management.
- Ability to deploy, configure, and support Tanium modules for security and compliance.
- Experience with endpoint security monitoring and remediation.
- Familiarity with agency or DoD security standards such as STIGs, NIST, or RMF.
- Proficient in Agile methodologies and Jira for tracking work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to operational details.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration across multiple technical teams.
