Ivy Computer is seeking a qualified, detail-oriented professional for
the role of **Senior System Administrator**.We\'re looking for someone
to manage our server clusters and keep services running for both
technical and non-tech users. A major upcoming challenge is the move to
Active Directory, SambaBox or alternative.
In this role, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring the
uptime of Ivys computers, servers, customer-facing applications, and
internet \-- basically \"keeping the lights on\" to limit disruptions.
This includes system maintenance and configuration such as installing
and troubleshooting hardware and software, performing daily checks of
all infrastructure, completing upgrades, automating alerts and logs,
ensuring our data is backed up, recovering data when needed, and
auditing and addressing cyber security gaps.
