Senior Systems Administrator - Modern Workplace
Onsite - Sacramento, CA
CDW is looking for a hands-on Senior Systems Administrator to own our modern endpoint and identity environment. This is a high-impact role for someone strong in Intune, Autopilot, and Hybrid AD/Entra ID who wants to serve as the primary technical authority across endpoints, identity, and core infrastructure.
What You'll Own:
Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot (device lifecycle, compliance, automation)
Hybrid Active Directory and Entra ID (Conditional Access, MFA, identity governance)
Endpoint security (Defender, Sophos or CrowdStrike)
Email security (Proofpoint or Darktrace)
Light-to-moderate Azure and Hyper-V administration
Rubrik backup and disaster recovery
Admin-level networking (Ubiquiti, Cradlepoint, DNS, MX management)
This is not a narrow specialist role. We need a well-rounded technical leader who is comfortable operating across endpoint management, identity, infrastructure, and security - and can partner directly with IT leadership.
