Titan Technologies, LLC (Titan) is seeking an experienced, self-directed, Senior Network Engineer to support the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) III contract. As a member of our team, you will help to assist USSOCOM, Service Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOC), and deployed forces in the delivery of a full spectrum of Information Technology (IT) services to operate and maintain information flow, communications, and connectivity globally.
The Senior Network Engineer performs Tier three network support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. This position tests and analyzes elements of network facilities. The Sr. Engineer is responsible for planning, modeling, simulation, design, installation, maintenance, management and coordination of the network. This position monitors and controls the performance and status of network resources by using software and hardware tools, as well as by identifying and diagnosing complex problems and factors affecting network performance. Engineers should study vendor products to determine those which best meet the Government’s needs.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Plan, design, engineer, configure, maintain, secure, troubleshoot, and repair VLANs and enterprise network environments
- Triage and resolve issues across LAN, WAN, and VoIP voice and data network infrastructures
- Troubleshoot enterprise WAN/MAN voice, data, and transmission networks and evaluate the impact of architectural changes
- Assess business and application requirements for corporate voice and data networks
- Plan, design, and implement network installation and upgrade projects
- Establish and maintain backup, version control, and malware defense systems
- Analyze network architectures and recommend system fixes, enhancements, and improvements
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve potential issues
- Recommend solutions to optimize network installations and reduce operational costs
- Track and document all program assets in accordance with government procedures and industry standards
- Interface with government personnel and customers to communicate project status and ensure effective coordination
- Support mission requirements as needed, including shift work or non-standard schedules
You MUST have:
- Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
- Hands-on experience designing, implementing, securing, and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and VLAN-based network infrastructures
- Experience supporting mission-critical voice and data networks, including VoIP and enterprise transmission systems
- DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification
- CCNA certification
Nice to have:
- Advanced networking certifications, including one or more of the following:
- CCNP (Collaboration, Data Center, Enterprise, Security, or Service Provider), CCDP, CCIoT, Aruba Certified Mobility Professional, or Juniper Networks Certified Specialist
- Experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical enterprise networks, preferably in DoD or IC environments
- Hands-on experience with network architecture design, performance optimization, and capacity planning
- Experience working in classified environments and supporting 24/7 operational missions
Education:
- High School Diploma with 6 years of experience OR AA + 4 yrs of experience OR BS + 2 years of experience OR MS + 0 years of experience
