Technical Lead/Architect, ServiceNow, AI, Startup, Remote
We’re looking for a highly skilled Lead/Senior ServiceNow Software Engineer to take a lead role in building enterprise-grade applications, architecting integrations, and helping scale our product and development capabilities. You will work directly with the VP of Engineering and offshore engineers to drive technical delivery and contribute to both AI and integration architecture across the platform.
You will ship production features, own architecture decisions, and help shape their core platform as they scale. This is a remote role for someone who thrives in a startup environment and wants to shape the direction of a next-generation platform.

What will you be doing?
- Build and maintain scoped applications on the ServiceNow platform with a focus on stability, scalability, and usability
- Lead implementation of advanced features, including AI agent integrations and dynamic workflow orchestration
- Drive solutions that meet certification standards for the ServiceNow Store (including app readiness, compliance, and submission cycles)
- Architect and implement integrations between ServiceNow and various systems (e.g., ACRE Feenics, CCURE 9000, Victor, MS Teams, Everbridge, Zoom)
- Develop custom APIs, REST/SOAP integrations, and secure authentication flows
- Manage sample data pipelines and work with CSVs, sandbox environments, and simulated test data
- Collaborate on AI-related initiatives, including knowledge base automation, AI POCs (e.g., record contextualization), and intelligent task management
- Contribute to architecture for AI cost-saving calculators, governance frameworks, and automation of security workflows
- Leverage experience in AI tools to inform platform-wide strategy and facilitate off-platform agent-to-agent integrations
What are the minimum qualifications?
- Prefer a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience, including custom app creation
- Experience building and publishing apps for the ServiceNow Store (preferably partner-certified)
- Technical leadership and software architect abilities
- Advanced certifications (e.g., ServiceNow Certified Application Developer/Architect). Physical Security Reimagined on ServiceNow 3
- Experience with integrations and external system orchestration
- Solid understanding of AI use cases within and outside of the ServiceNow platform
- Familiarity with Agile development, DevOps pipelines, and Jira workflows
- Strong to excellent communication skills and ability to work with customers
- Excellent teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
